Established in November 2006, this Motorcycle Association continues to grow and make its members proud.  Six Point Riders (6PR) is a member-run motorcycle association.  We have organized rides during the week and on weekends.  In addition, don’t be surprised if one of the club members calls you up out of the blue and says, “Lets hit the road.”  

     We currently have members that range in age from their early 30’s to their 70’s.  Our members ride all different kinds of bikes...old and new, Harley to Honda, sport to cruiser.  Whatever your preference, we welcome you.  Our members include doctors, tradesmen, truck drivers, entrepreneurs, and healthcare professionals.  As you can see, we come from all walks of life, but when it comes down to it, what you do for a living is not as important as being a motorcycle lover.   

     We have an executive board (EB) whose capacity as a whole is to make decisions that are in the best interest of the group.  The EB members also have some individual responsibilities.  For a riding club, the most important role is that of the ride coordinator.  You may think that this person has the sole responsibility to plan and coordinate all of the rides....WRONG!  Our club was created and run for the members, by the members.  The ride coordinator takes ride ideas that he/she receives and along with the person that submitted it, works out the logistics.  This is just for the planned rides.  Like we said earlier, don’t be surprised if another club member calls you up on a whim and says “let’s get out of town.” 

     We take safety very seriously in this group.  Hand signals are essential to maintain the safety of everyone.  Don’t worry, the hand signals are easy to learn if you are not already familiar with them.  If you are a prospective member, we will require you to ride with us on several occasions before we offer you the opportunity to become a member of our association.   

     We are full members of the Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance (JMA) and are a Motorcycle Association recognized by the South Florida Presidents Council of Clubs and Organizations.  Once you become a member of 6PR, you will automatically receive the privileges associated with being affiliated with both of these entities.
